In light
of the ongoing and new global Challenges, the World Family Organization's
Mission is:
-
To
promote means, opportunity and equal rights and chances
for women and men to assume their role and functions within
the Family and Society, in conditions of freedom, equity,
security and human dignity, and promote policies to bring
about better life condition to all Families, respecting
theirs diversity and peculiarities.
- To contribute
to Peace, Economic, Social and Sustainable Development, Poverty
Eradication, Social Inclusion, Justice, Tolerance, Solidarity,
respect for human Rights, ethics and democratic principles
through Family-Oriented policies formulation, programs and
projects at all levels.
- To provide
a platform for dialogue and action involving both public and
private sector, as well as for the free flow and sharing of
information and knowledge.
- To provide
a Forum for deliberations on emerging ethical issues, specially
those related to Human Rights and Family Rights.
- To serve
as a gateway for an enhanced understanding and respect of
cultural diversity.

- To promote
among its members the the development of the Family-Focused
Strategies bold enough to meet the Millennium Development
Goals at the Local Level and in the Family.
