Please find attached our invitation letter for the European Symposium “Child Poverty – A European Challenge!”, to be held on 31 August and 1 September 2009 in Berlin, Germany.
We would be pleased to debate with you the needs and the possibilities of fighting child poverty in the European Union, together with representatives from pan-European NGOs as well as from EU authorities.
For further information about the symposium, please have a look at the attached programme.
Please note that there are different invitations for different groups of participants, depending on the EU member country they come from. To give everyone who is interested the possibility to take part in the symposium we decided to vary the costs for the participants. Therefore, if you are from a new EU member country (see list below), please choose the invitation “EU-12”. The invitation named “EU-15” is for all other European countries, except Germany
We would also like to kindly ask you to pass this email on to your member organisations and/or other persons who might be interested in the symposium.
