Survey

Survey Report on “NGO/ Civil Society and Poverty Eradication in Least Developed Countries” - Since the late 1960s, the UN started recognizing and paying special attention to a certain group of countries, classified as LDCs. The UN, through the NGO Section, selected and interviewed 135 NGOs from 46 countries, of which 28 NGOs selected come from 12 LDCs; from those interviews a report was elaborated. The report, amongst other information, shares NGOs’ Success Stories, mentioning the World Family Organization as one of the success stories.

Placed at the heart of global agenda, they are now called the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
