Information


Date: 26 to 29 November 2007.

Venue: Hilton Warsaw - Hotel & Convention Center

Registration: all Participants are expected to register and are exempted from registration fee.

Working Languages: simultaneous interpretation in English, French, Polish, Arabic and Portuguese will be provided. Official documents will be available in english. The other languages will be provided according to availability.

On Arrival: The WFS+3 Secretariat will set up a Welcome Desk at the Warsaw Airport.

Hotel Information: Click here for a list of hotels in Warsaw nearby the venue.

Other Official Dinners and Cultural Events: will be held in other outside locations. Please check frequently to obtain updated information. The Participant Handbook also will contain specific information. Transportation Hotel-Venue-Hotel will be provided.

Coffee breaks: complimentary tea/coffee will be provided as in the Program.

Currency: the local currency is the Zloty (zl). Currency can be exchanged at major banks, exchange booths and at most hotels. The average exchange rate is 1 EUR = 3,8007 Zlotys.

Postal Services: please check with the WFS+3 Secretariat.

Cellular and other telephones: please check with the WFS+3 Secretariat.

Notices:
- Auditorium requirements: Please turn off the mobile phone or switch to the mute mode when the Plenary is in session.
- No smoking policy: Auditorium and offices of the Summit are smoke-free areas.
- Badge requirement: Badges are required for all entries.

Insurance: The participants are expected to have and shall be responsible for their own insurance to cover for expenses related to medical treatment while on travel or in Poland when attending the Summit and the related events.

Medical Assistance: please contact the WFS+3 Secretariat for information.

Languages: the official language of Poland is Polish, but English is widely spoken.
