CURRICULUM VITAE
Eric
de Wasch, born in Bruges (West Flanders, Belgium) in 1940.
Resident in Blankenberge, on the Belgian coast.
Married,
father of three daughters; grandfather of 9 grandchildren.
Professional details: employed since 1965 at the Belgian Federal
Ministry of Finance, from 1978 to 1980 attaché at the Office
of the Minister of Finance, and retired since July 2005 with the
rank of regional Director..
On
14 December 1973 became a member of the Executive Committee of
the Bond van Grote en van Jonge Gezinnen (League of Large and
Young Families (then the youngest member), the highest body of
the family association. Assumed the position of Financial Advisor
(comparable with Treasurer), from 1978 till end 1987, then appointed
Delegated Administrator till the end of 1999.
From 1 January 2000, appointed Vice-President of the Gezinsbond
(new name of 'Bond van Grote en van Jonge Gezinnen) From 1 January
2006, appointed Coordinator of the European Action of Gezinsbond.
The NGO Gezinsbond has actually 280 000 family-members.

Outside
the Gezinsbond:
-Was
elected as a secretary general of WFO on 4 December 1997, in
function till the end of 2006.
-President of the Belgian Committee WFO.
-Consultant and actually Vice-President since 2005, at the Belgian
Institute for Postal Service and Telecommunications,
-Vice-President of Vlaams Woningfonds, the Flemish Housing Fund.
