Family Summit, Sanya - China
The World Family Summit is being held at the very moment in which the
world is turning its attention to the family as the primary unit composing
society.
All societies are built on families and the relations among them. To focus
on the family aiming at social development, social justice, gender equality,
health, environment protection, education and other goals is to direct
the family's multiplying force towards its members and to the society
they compose. Essentialy, to concentrate action and efforts on the family
is to bring all society towards better conditions.
I feel honored to participate of this important event. It is, unquestionably,
one of the great milestones of the family-focused International Conferences,
and a fantastic kickstart to the ten-year Plan of Action which takes concrete
action at improving the life conditions of families all over the world.
