CHAPTER FIVE
FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS
28.
(1) Parliament shall enact such laws as are necessary to ensure
that -
(e) the protection and advancement of the family as the unit of
society are safeguarded in promotion of the interest of children.
29.
(1) Disabled persons have the right to live with their families
or with foster parents and to participate in social, creative or
recreational activities.

THE DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY
36.
(8) The State shall recognise that ownership and possession of land
carry a social obligation to serve the larger community and, in
particular, the State shall recognise that the managers of public,
stool, skin and family lands are fiduciaries charged with the obligation
to discharge their functions for the benefit respectively of the
people of Ghana, of the stool, skin, or family concerned and are
accountable as fiduciaries in this regard.
