2007 programme, which is being launched by a two day initiative

holding an outstanding conference on Thursday 8 March, International
Women’s Day to celebrate this annual major day of global

the impact of women on public life at all levels, the potential
for change towards gender equality and empowerment of women
and a more democratic and just society is increased.”
The AIWF 2007 conference will be looking at various aspects
of entrepreneurship and how women can make a difference. The
particular focus will be on the opportunities for women and
the impact they have when taking significant roles in the global
marketplace.
