Survey Report on “NGO/ Civil Society and Poverty Eradication in Least Developed Countries”
Since the late 1960s, the UN started recognizing and paying special attention to a certain group of countries, classified as LDCs. The UN, through the NGO Section, selected and interviewed 135 NGOs from 46 countries, of which 28 NGOs selected come from 12 LDCs; from those interviews a report was elaborated.
The report, amongst other information, shares NGOs’ Success Stories, mentioning the World Family Organization as one of the success stories.
